I haven't had a Tisas, but I did at one time own more than one Rock Island, and they shot just as well as my Colt or SA pieces. I hope you enjoy shooting the good old 1911 A1. For me, the cheapest I would go is the milspec. Part of the attraction of a 1911 is that it is like the small block chevy; there is a huge aftermarket for it.
